Think about this problem and the one actionable tip for the week...
The Problem: Is This The Most Important Moment?
This week, imagine we are driving in a car.
Yours. Mine. A rental. In an uber.
Which One (you gotta pick in order for your imagination to get this dialed in)? Who's driving? Where are we headed this moment?
ME: "Hey, how are you?"
YOU: "I never seem to be in the moment."
I mentioned above that THIS actual moment of you reading this article is probably NOT the most important moment in your entire life.
And.
It's important to remember to live in this moment.
It could be [doom] scrolling in an echo chamber like this.
It could be while sitting on the beach contemplating life.
It could be sitting in front of your computer reading this article while you are supposedly participating on a zoom / microsoft teams / whatever google calls it today call.
It could be while you are sitting in your living room or a quiet place in your home of office (and remember... what's the ONE place in your world where you can be totally alone lol)?
It could be...
Ah.
Yeah.
It could be a lot of things and places and things happening all at once.
It's life.
All good.

1 周Since I started practicing mindful meditation ~10 years ago, & Buddhism shortly thereafter, being present in the moment is part of my regular practice. While life is filled with distractions, I work at being present since I feel it is also a sign of respect for who I am speaking with, what I am working on, etc.
