The Moment I Realized My True Passion

I had filled in for a colleague during an event in Montreal which was called: " The National Prayer Breakfast", this was in 2004. These Prayer Breakfasts are still being held. They gather Leaders from many different spheres of activities, whether it be politics, religious or business.

That morning, the speaker was: Lieutenant-General Roméo A. Dallaire. He had just launched his book " Shake Hands with the Devil". The conference was so intense and touching, you could have heard a pin drop while he spoke. There were very few dry eyes in the room.

I left that conference feeling very moved, touched and inspired.

I had just recently completed 2 years of very intensive self-development training in communication, leadership and coaching skills. I had chosen to pursue and complete this training being at that time a Business and Team Leader also.

I was on my way to a very important meeting with a Pharmaceutical Company. This was a major customer of ours in the Contract Packaging Industry. This meeting, which included the President of my Company, was being held to resolve a very important issue and problem, which had been causing me anxiety and sleepless nights.

I left the conference that morning, realizing that the issue that we wanted to resolve, when compared to what happened in Rwanda, seemed now insignificant and was certainly not worth all my anxiety and lack of sleep!

I had been thinking about leaving my Sales and Marketing career to start my own Leadership Coaching Business. This conference gave me the final push that I needed to take the risk. It had become clear, I wanted to make a difference in the business world, and wanted to work with Team Leaders who by becoming the best version of themselves, would also in turn make a difference in their teams thus contributing to building a better World.

It was during my New Journey that I truly grasped what drives me: Helping Businesses Develop and Achieve Significant Growth. Guiding and Helping Team Leaders to inspire, mobilize and motivate their team players in working together to accomplish and achieve measurable, tangible, exciting and durable goals and objectives.

Through challenges and triumphs, I've learned the importance of integrity, commitment, contribution, empathy and perseverance.
