“This is the moment I accept the most challenging times will always be behind me and in front of me.” - Kobe Bryant

“This is the moment I accept the most challenging times will always be behind me and in front of me.” - Kobe Bryant

The sudden passing of the legend Kobe Bryant, one of the best basketball players of all time, a devoted father, husband, philanthropist, unifier, and inspirational figure, causes us all to reflect on the fragility of life. This legend of a man was in the prime of his life, had experienced ultimate success due to his determination, focus and relentless drive to be the best, and after retirement was now devoting his life to his family and helping the lives of children and families in need. He had so much more to give and was taken too early.

The randomness of events in life that can shatter realities and be mercilessly unfair, are perplexing, frightening and impossible to rationalize. Kobe Bryant understood that life is a constant battle with challenges, and we all have the spirit and mettle to confront those challenges and not let them defeat us. He was a superlative example of overcoming the odds, indefatigable work ethic, confronting challenges head on, staying strong and not buckling to defeat. Let’s honor his spirit by cherishing every day that we are gifted to be on this earth, and by facing our challenges with grace, determination and gratitude that we have the opportunity to accept and master those challenges and grow from the experience.

Prayers for Kobe Bryant, his daughter and his family ??
