And... how on earth does one 'animate'? Being all things in a business is HARD!

The day of the moon is here!

I seem to have spent most of the weekend trying to figure out how to make animations for an advert I am working on, and I still haven't managed to do it. I'm following a YouTube guide step by step and I started getting on OK but then when I ran the animation the timing was all off! Anyway, I began getting really frustrated, I couldn't focus because I had been staring at my screen for so long, and it just wasn't clicking... so I closed the lid of the laptop and went to bed.

I woke up this morning and the solution came to me like some revelation... I literally can not wait to get back on it this morning to fix it. I'm really looking forward to the ad going out. ????

Did I mention that we have established a support bubble? Guess who has joined our family group... yes... its mumsy!!! ??????

She may regret this!

Anyway, I mowed the lawn on Saturday. That was nice... a touch humid though, isn't it? Crikey!!! I was dripping. A lovely thought.

And yesterday I did a bit of DIY at mums, putting a sign up (which I bought for her birthday but was too small, so we put it in a different place and ordered a new one) and a new light at the front of her house went up too. Good job I had the old light wiring to go by ??. I have a tap to fix at mums too (I have that one sorted... a little 'o' ring needs replacing so that'san easy one... and then there is the cupboard doors to rehang, and a boiler problem to solve and the garage office to board out and insulate, and a fence to replace and a patio to build and... you get the picture. And I want to do those things, of course, but I'm not very good at them, and I would rather be making books! ????

Anyway... I have A LOT of insurancing to do this week. A couple of insurancey calls to attend today and tomorrow. So I'm going to march through the stuff I need to do with all of that and then I'll get on to booky stuff.

I put out a blurred out version of one of the illustrations I've received for one of the titles I am working on and it has gone down rather well. It's pure gold and kids are gonna love it. I think the adults will too! Hop over to ShookBop for a peek.

I have some artworks arriving today that I'm really REALLY excited to be getting. More on that later.

Hope used some of the money she has earned working with me to buy a mini swimming pool thingy for us to enjoy together... and she spent hours in it yesterday. It was so lovely to see, and such a lovely thing to do with her money. Obviously this means that the neighbours will have to endure the associated racket that goes with having any form of water come into contact with children.... I swear they are like Mogwai!

I'm going to have to get up and I have a son and daughter to 'resurrect' from their duvet tombs.
