MOFIJESUSEWA- (I use Jesus as beauty).

MOFIJESUSEWA- (I use Jesus as beauty).

About two days to the beginning of my final year first semester exams, I saw a message on my pharmacy school group chat which read thus:

"We are deeply sorry to announce the passing away of Ajetumobi Mofijesusewa".

My heart shattered into pieces, I couldn't even place my hands on the moment when tears started to fall from my eyes. I kept thinking about how Sewa's Parents were feeling currently especially her mum because she was an only girl child among her siblings.

Sewa was a colleague of mine in pharmacy school and I know that all parents pray to not see their children's grave which was a major reason why I kept thinking about her family.

That evening, a candle light ceremony was organized for her and I attended. On arriving at that location, the holy spirit said clearly to me "I want you to document the things I will be pointing out to you because her obituary and her life is a message to you and others".

Various individuals were called upon to share with us how Sewa has impacted them and the holy spirit pointed out to me that it is in what they were sharing that the message he had lies.

. The first message he wanted me to keep in my heart was to become a person who truly pick up my cross and follow Jesus without looking back even in suffering.

When people were called upon to talk about Sewa, one of the most profound thing that was mentioned was how she kept on saying God is and has been faithful through the pain she was feeling, her faith till the very end and how hopeful she was that God will heal her.

Her life really made me sit down and ask myself questions like " If things got really tough, will I still behold the face of Jesus?".

"Even if I have an incurable disease and I don't get healed, will I still follow Jesus?".

"can you follow Jesus to the point where you love him more than life itself?".

These are serious questions to reflect upon. Because for me, I came to the place in my reflection where I saw that Just having Jesus is enough for me, there is nothing else life has to offer that is better than him.

. The second message he highlighted to me was the place of people as currency (new wealth asset class due to paper money failing).

When individuals continued talking about how she impacted them, they kept saying you will always meet her with a smile, warm heart and friendliness, they said she was someone that turns up for her people either monetary or not.

. Then the holy spirit highlighted to me that if you are going to lay hold of the things he has made available for you in this realm, then you have to love people, become a solution to people by offering value and commit to becoming the positive difference between who people were before they met you and who they will be. Don't be a problem creator in people's life.

Honestly, relationships are a major part of what God uses to propel us into destiny.

Sewa was a definition of a life well lived,I saw that her faith truly didn't fail her because she slept in the lord.

See what 1 Thessalonians 4 vs 16 -17....the Joy that radiates in my heart when I read through this.

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.

17?After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

18?Therefore encourage one another with these words.

Thank you Sewa for living a life of impact, I celebrate your life and all you represented.

Till we meet again on resurrection morning.

"Mofijesusewa is a yoruba culture name of southwestern Nigeria ".

With Love,

Taiwo Idris.
