Modular vaccine plant to Morocco in 6 months – Making a Difference
Pharmadule Morimatsu has completed a turn-key modular plant, from start of Conceptual Design to completion of off-site fabrication, for Moroccan Sensyo Pharmatech in only 6 months. The project is commissioned by the Moroccan government together with the Swedish CDMO Recipharm and will, on completion, mark the start of an era of vaccine independence in Morocco.?
The 10,000 m2 facility will consist of a modular delivery housing 3 filling lines, including vial filling, pre-filled syringes (PFS) and lyophilization as well as a prefabricated warehouse. It will be located in the province of Benslimane, halfway between Rabat and Casablanca, together with other auxiliary buildings.
Between 2022-2025, the aim is the fill finish of more than 20 vaccines and bio-therapeutic products, including three Covid-19 vaccines to meet the needs of people in Morocco and Africa.
