One of the fun aspects of my role is engaging with the analyst and press community.?

?In a recent series of meetings, we were pleasantly surprised at the reception our OpenData? Workflow module received. One analyst even commented that they wished “they were back in an operations role to use it.”?A bit about what makes it so special?

The Workflow module allows users to manage tasks through a step-by-step process, ensuring streamlined and controlled operations. Individual workflow tasks can trigger specific UI elements, even restricting the UI to only appropriate options, preventing many mistakes and oversights (e.g., cannot accidentally remove a power connection when the task is to remove network connections.) Workflows are even integrated with our helpdesk ticketing system to ensure the same processes are followed?throughout.?

Additionally, end-users can independently build and load workflows through the Self-Service feature. The Graphical Workflow Editor enables users to easily create new workflows by dragging and dropping elements, which are then converted into executable workflows. Automatic version control ensures new edits apply to new instances, avoiding conflicts with active instances. With Administrative Control, users can monitor and manage open tasks efficiently, including real-time workflow state viewing and comprehensive reporting.?
