MODI: INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT PM
MODI: INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT PM
For modern India to move into the world scene as perhaps the third biggest “trillions of dollars” economy, infrastructure has to be built pragmatically both for the present and keeping in view the future of this democracy.
In doing so ?many are the contradictions that emerge politically, national as well as international and also the word ‘infrastructure’ assumes a complex dimension today not just building roads and airports but a sea of operations internally of a diverse population in terms of languages, religious preferences the quality of our administration within the country. All traversing in modern civilization as Alvin Toffler put it:

"A new civilization is emerging in our lives, and blind men everywhere are trying to suppress it. This new civilization brings with it new family styles; changed ways of working, loving, and living; a new economy; new political conflicts; and beyond all this an altered consciousness as well...The dawn of this new civilization is the single most explosive fact of our lifetimes." -Alvin Toffler, from? The Third Wave?(1980)
Two outstanding leaders shine out in the world of transition particularly in the USA mysteriously this is not “Kennedy” all charisma but no substance like our Mr Shashi Tharoor ( Krishna Menon – Pitha Maha, Oxford lectures wholly condemning Britain without naming their contributions to the subcontinent). Such people will also make return of Kohinoor or Tipu's sword - a worthless historical object of absolutely no economic value the primary objective to a nation on the move . The real time examples are Teddy Roosevelt ( The Engineer President) who built the Panama Canal and his cousin Franklin Delano Roosevelt ( the president who got USA out of the depression) ?Our equivalent is PM Modi and President Abdul Kalam ( Scientist president).
Many are the infrastructure needed which have to be seen not only from political hype but in terms of what the Science or Technology as feasible and for the energy futures of the country. For example the Compressed Natural Gas mix with Hydrogen is meant for heavy industry perhaps even for Rail transport – but not for retail at the pump in cities. It is a Health, Safety and Environmental Hazard if the output end is consumed by Hydrogen Car commercial vehicles. Here the Science makes the decision not the politician.
The Uniform Civil Code is another infrastructure to build on - otherwise we shall have endless troubles not from Islam itself but a Caliphate which usurped power ever since Abu baker.?Their mayhem is to be seen as a spoiler to our peaceful India with its diversity of religions. Presently it is linked with Oil politics which is pervading through the world as lobbyists. The Oil industry economics will see the transformation to a new platform once the energy transition is made technologically sustainable, to withstand Oil cartels every where. The recent debacle with the BBC and the later false accusation of the Indian PM being directly involved at the British Parliament by a Muslim MP: needs to be investigated by the External affairs Ministry of India. Rather then merely banning the BBC. Better question is what ails the BBC? Is this sourced to lobbying by a divisive mission in England?. The world is a diversity of views and religions sirs not a single monologue by any one religion.?Not for you to divide England from India and India within India!
