Modern Widows Club LOVE FOR WIDOWS Benevolent Fund Gives $56,000 to Widows in Need

Modern Widows Club LOVE FOR WIDOWS Benevolent Fund approved 12 more micro grants today! We are up to $56,000 total for hardship, food and medical grants for #widowleaders and chapter members!

Grants have assisted #widows to:

- Provide food, diapers, medical care after job loss

- Assisted with moving expenses

- Repaired a car after a fire

- Attend my brothers funeral

- Repaired plumbing after a flood

- Paid high medical bills for insulin

- Fed and clothed 26 fatherless children in Kenya

- Kept my grief and depression counseling sessions

- Bought computer accessories not provided by employer

- Provided hotel expenses not covered by insurance after a house water leak

- Helped feed my elderly parents due to increased household and medical bills

- Renewed tags on my car that were 6 months late

- Provided additional babysitting dues to increase in nursing hours

- Repaired my A/C Unit after one month

- Helped a family travel to their daughters wedding

- Paid my April mortgage after job loss

- Replaced my very dangerous (bald) tires

- Continued with physical therapy after my car accident

- Cut down two trees that were about to fall on my home

- Kept my childcare business from defaulting because rent costs didn't stop during pandemic
