Modern day story of hiking 600 miles of the Mexican Caribbean Coast

Wendy Morrill did a casual beach walk with her father on a vacation in the Riviera Maya. Little did she know then that it would lead to a 600-mile journey down Mexico's Caribbean shoreline.

Her book recently published was inspired not only by the jaunt, but the motivation to share her experiences as Michel Peissel did in his 1963 book the Lost World of Quintana Roo.

Wendy's new book Found World of Quintana Roo tells of her adventure with her father, from being refused water by the big all inclusive resorts, to raft building, to armed men on remote beaches.

She took time from her book signing to chat with us.

Find her book on Amazon.
