Well, now you can finally put up Christmas decorations without your neighbour giving you the side eye. Spooky season is over, did you hit your chocolate quota? We all know that's the only real quota that needs to be hit during October. Just so we all know, I exceeded mine.

So what now, well the end of the year is almost upon us. November is a bit of a longer month thanks to how the weeks are set up so the fun begins. Usually, all the fun stuff happens during these last two months. More activities to do in the cold, and since you never want to leave your house, more deals and news comes out because you could say that we all get just a little bit more productive.

So speaking of being productive, let's get into it.

If you don't already know him, Jake Karls is one of the most popular people on LinkedIn it seems these days. A large part of that is the crazy and awesome content that he puts out all the time and the stories he tells about Mid-Day Squares . The reason for the quick topic here on this company is the recent success they have seen with storytelling via TikTok and the long-term strategy they took with it. Check out Jake's latest post but basically, they went from having a company account get less than 1,000 views per video to getting over 8 MILLY on their last two posts thanks to some great storytelling.

NYC getting exposed

Recently NYC has been pushed to now have to share the salary range in their job postings. If the company has 4 or more employees then they have to do this. So now you will know just how much that Finance Bro is making on Wall Street, actually maybe not because that job came from their dad's friends cousins fraternity brother's boss.

Fractional Home Owning

reAlpha a company based in the US has recently closed the financing of $200M even though no one had ever heard of them before. We are seeing more and more companies starting to do this in the US, like Arrived Homes as a key start-up as well. This model allows the investors to invest small amounts of money into rental or Airbnb homes that they then collect incremental returns from the rental income each month or quarter. Will we see this in Canada soon?
