Modeling your "Flow Life" after the world's fastest train

Want to learn the secret of living in flow for 2023?
Look no further than a Maglev train.
If you’re not familiar with a Maglev train, the name derives from the phrase, “magnetic levitation.” It relies two sets electromagnets — one set pushes the train up off the track (by only about ten centimeters) and the other set moves the train ahead.
The ability to levitate above the track prevents friction. As such, Maglev trains can travel at much higher speeds than traditional trains —?even “bullet trains.” In 2021, a Maglev train in Qingdao, China surpassed 600 km/hr.
What does this have to do with you?
Well, the Maglev has to rely on the harmony of natural forces to keep it moving. Too much power from one electromagnet, and it will go off the track. Too little power, and it will scrape the track. And it requires just the right amount of power from the other electromagnet to propel it forward.
Natural forces. Not effort. Less drag.
That’s a state of flow.
The Maglev is a wonderful representation of physical/emotional/spiritual harmony —?the Yin-Yang.
While some in Western society mistakenly believe the Yin-Yang represents opposites, it actually represents polarities — just like the forces of electromagnetism.?
The polarity of Yin represents stillness and “rest and digest.”
The polarity of Yang represents movement and “fight or flight.”
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, all illness can be traced back to disharmony between the Yin-Yang. Just like the Maglev train, when the polarities are in disharmony, the train can either go off the track, or drag.
Within our bodies, the Yin-Yang is actually represented within our Autonomic Nervous System (ANS).

Within the ANS we have the Parasympathetic Nervous System and the Sympathetic Nervous System.?
The Sympathetic Nervous System is our Yang System. It’s our fight or flight system. It’s motion. It’s “kicking ass.” It’s a survival mechanism to run away from a tiger; or stand a fight an attacker. When we get stressed, this system goes to to work to help us survive.?
The Parasympathetic Nervous System is the Yin System. This system is the “rest and digest” system that helps calm us after the sympathetic gets worked up. It also sustains life sustaining processes that keep us alive, such as digestion, heart beating, etc.?
Optimal health is achieved when the sympathetic and parasympathetic are in harmony. When disharmony occurs between the two systems, that’s when we get sick, stressed, or anxious. That disharmony is the root of all disease.
Dr. Thomas Cowan, in his book, Human Heart, Cosmic Heart , writes that the root of all heart disease lies within this disharmony —?specifically when our sympathetic is too active related to the parasympathetic.
Cowan writes...
“Eighty percent of ischemic events are preceded by chronic reductions in parasympathetic activity, which can be brought on by smoking, emotional stress, inactivity, poor diet, hypertension, or—often—a combination of these, followed by a significant, often drastic increase in sympathetic activity such as an acute traumatic event or physical exertion."
“So if we want to prevent heart attacks, we must protect our parasympathetic activity, use medicines that support it, and nourish the heart with what it needs,” continues Cowan.
“Nourishing our parasympathetic nervous system means dismantling a way of life for which humans are ill suited. This way of life, in my view, is industrial civilization. The known things that nourish our parasympathetic nervous system are contact with nature, loving relations, trust, economic security, and sex—in a sense, a whole new world.”
Author, documentarian, and Eastern philosopher Jason Gregory agrees. On a recent episode of the Freedom Media Network podcast, Gregory told me he feels we live in a Yin-deficient society. He suggests we can find the answers in the 2500-year old text of the Tao Te Ching, written by Taoist sage Lao-Tzu.
“Lao-Tzu recommends that we need to know the male, ‘but stick to the female.’ So, know the Yang, but stick to the Yin. What that means is we should reside more in the Yin, and conservatively be active. So be active when we need to be active, but not burn ourselves out and contribute to more chaos in the world.”
He continues, “You know, a lot of people when they say they’re hot-headed, they’re really hot headed. All of the energy is in their mind, and they can’t pull the plug to just be calm.?In some sense, we’ve (our society) kind of turned away from rest-and-digest and we’re fully locked into fight-or-flight.”?

Imagine this type of disharmony for the Maglev train. In worst, it derails. Best case scenario, it remains stuck on the track.
Are you on track to derail? Do you feel stuck on the track?
The answer lies in getting the same state of flow as the Maglev train, which exists at the harmony point between the two polarities —?Yin and Yang.
We need both, but too much of either results in stagnation or meltdown.
And that means discontent, lack of joy, stress, anxiety, anger, frustration, and any one of a number of trapped emotions.
Would it be worth 30 minutes to you to learn how I can help you create this Yin-Yang harmony in your life so you can live in a state of flow instead of a state of stagnation or meltdown?

Are you blocked by this invisible force?
It's easy to look only to the visible — the material — when we seek to upgrade our health, our relationships, and our prosperity.
But what of the invisible?
Sure, I'm talking of spiritual and emotional energies — and have written about those extensively in past newsletters (and will continue to do so).
But what of the invisible, electrical energy that impacts us day and night?
