???Effective communication is the cornerstone of successful leadership. From Stephen Covey to Ken Robinson, strong communication is seen as essential to be successful people, schools and leaders.?
As an educational leader, your ability to be a proficient communicator can empower your team and foster a strong school community. How effectively you communicate during times of change can be integral to your rate of progress. Ensuring faculty and students feel valued may factor in their willingness to stay long-term.
Communication is a learned skill.
We can learn to be effective Communicators. Modelling a willingness to take on feedback and being open-minded about communication will also develop trust and model good practice for your team.?
