Now of days we need to be in at least two places at one time. We are the model superhero of the twenty-first century. Our time is juggling between our families including spouse, children, pets, friends. Additionally, our career, education/continuous learning, personal time for physical and mental health, and the list goes on.
Personally, I am a proclaimed self-help junkie. Currently, my journey has brought me to being personal effective which is still a work in progress. Several things happen in life which may steer you off the wrong track or just halts you in place. Do not lose your momentum of your dreams.
Through my research, many articles and books such as Better Than Before by Gretchen Rubin have stated about waking up early to accomplish things in your daily life. It gives you the feeling of accomplishment and the whole day is still ahead.
Waking up from 4 am-7 am gives a good time to utilize your time and get a head start before anyone else wakes up. It is an excellent time to get many personal items you have wanted to accomplish. During that period, you could choose to do something you enjoy or have wanted to start doing such as reading, exercising, meal planning, homework, cleaning, spending time with your pet, etc.
My new habit is when my cat wakes me up before 6 am to get up and work on things I have wanted to get done and keep putting off or even through those needed items but aren't that exciting. Durning that time of day, since you brain hasn't been distracted by other things yet, it is easy to focus and stay on track to completing something every morning.
What new habit will you do to propel you to the next level of your dreams? Maybe the early morning isn't your time of day but you can choose what you do with your time and find something that works better for you.
