The Model of Growth for Emerging Leaders
A video recording re-enactment of my PechaKucha presentation at THE 2015 Performance Improvement Conference.

“You’ll never make it”
“It’s too risky”
“Don’t jump”
“It’s a long way down”
“You’re crazy”
“What if… I die”
Terrified, I managed to get to the edge of the diving board.
I was alone… isolated.
It was an irrational fear and it was REAL. I was stuck… frozen in time.
I stood there thinking of my end – and not of any beginnings.
What about you? Have you ever been there in your own life or work experiences? Think of a moment in time.
In April 2015, I presented live to the entire conference population at the ispi.org conference in San Antonio in a PechaKucha format: 20 slides x 20 seconds each, automatically advanced. The above video is a recreation of my presentation and is based on my book, The Apple in the Orchard: a story about finding the courage to emerge, endorsed by Ken Blanchard and illustrated by the talented Constantina Kalimeris.
