Mobile World Congress, Workday Shaking Up HR, IBM Busy Announcement Week
The Internet of Things and AI innovations seemed to dominate the talk around the Mobile World Conference in Barcelona this past week. 联想 and 摩托罗拉系统 used event to launch Smart Connect, a software solution that unifies digital ecosystems to create a multi-device experience. Other note worthy product partnerships include Qualcomm's new 5G-enabled Jio Phone in India soon, Nokia utilizing Intel technology to drive greater 5G network energy saving, and Cisco and Intel Launch Private 5G Innovation Centers.

Visualization Of The Week: Workday's Enterprise Management Cloud
Workday 's solid revenue performance of total revenues were $1.9 billion, an increase of 17% from the fourth quarter of fiscal 2023 and subscription revenues at $1.8 billion, an increase of 18% from the same period last year, shows a firm with a good grip on their part of the market.
Its vision for its Enterprise Management Cloud market notes fairly aligned directions and pairs nicely with its recent acquisition of HiredScore. IDC feels its a winning move, however, the market was less than ecstatic with them not meeting expectations.
Not much blues to speak to though from Workday with recent euro-centric partnership with Kainos and partnership with Insperity, the company is definitely going to make waves in HR market.
IBM Is Everywhere This Week With Tons Of Announcements
IBM used Mobile World Congress to make some noise around the IBM Hybrid Cloud Mesh, its virtualized networking environment that enables secure connectivity across edge, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.
GenAI was also top of mind for the firm, making time to discuss democratizing Generative AI with The Futurum Group and partnering with 维布络 on its enterprise AI-Rready platform.
Security was also on its mind as IBM unveiled AI-Assisted SSD That Thwarts Ransomware For Safer Storage (report note from NAND Research ) as well as doled out key insights from its IBM X-Force Threat Intelligence Index 2024
