Do you remember your first mobile phone, and the newfound feelings of connectedness and convenience that came with it?
I was one of the first in my circles to have a cellular phone. One of the coolest features my phone and network could support was the receipt of short email messages — no send capabilities. What I didn’t know at the time was how easy this made mobile communications. Continue reading at SecurityIntelligence.com

5 年Security on Android phones and tablets is a joke. They are full of vulnerabilities. Most security software on them is useless and cannot remedy ti the vulnerabilities themselves which are largely inherent to Android. I personally use Malwarebytes Premium but it is no panacea. As to the security of communications themselves I have shown that I could read on my connected smartwatch messages using end to end encryption likes Signal, WhatsApp, Telegram, etc. But this is only of I'm close enough and Bluetooth is activated on the phone, because it's Bluetooh 4.2 and less that is vulnerable. There are simple Bluetooth hacking tools on the Darknet. The photo (edited for confidentiality) shows a Signal message on my smartwatch. iOS is better, and Windows Phone 10 even better but a commercial failure. There are "hardened" versions of Android phones such as the Blackphone or Blackberry (now Chines) which guarantee an excellent security of communications using their own servers, but I have noted that novices do not realize that communications are secured only when taking place with a similar model. The devices themselves however are not immune to intrusions.
