Mobile Apps- A Revolution

Even though a desktop application that provides multi-tasking, a mobile application has attracted user in such a way that if we sit-down to think about number of mobile app user and app available, it will stagger our imagination.

In 2008, app stores were launched by Google and Apple. In a very less time the number of apps available now on the store is out of imagination.
For an average corporate, in building a mobile application the costing was too much, but due to sudden increase in the app user the cost has gradually fallen to a level that anyone can now-a-days have their own mobile app.
There was a time when computing was a thing when user sat at the desktop to do their work. Now the advancement in the technology of phones people do their light computing task like sending emails, downloading, video conferencing, chatting etc on their Smartphone. Mobile apps are the only thing that made this possible.

Now-a-days there are terrible amount of apps that can turn phone into flashlights, converters, calculators, compasses etc. Apps are growing in their features and complexity day-by-day.
Mobile Apps are bringing most of the functions including Movie Maker, photo/video editing, gaming and many more that desktop are being replaced by it.
Even the phone companies are bringing advancement in the hardware of Mobile phones that user might not need desktop at all. Though laptops/desktops are still revolutionary in market but they are shrinking on the other hand as well. Apps travel with user in different demographic areas and with permission can access local data.
