Mob Maker

Dear Friends, whenever there is talk about the collective strength of humans, we often inspire by the statement “Of the people, by the people and for the people.” It always surprises me when coin by the negativity of the word “Mob”. It seems we need to introspect that “what is that which makes an individual, part of Mob and forced to dilute its all potential image /strength?”

Let’s see what is exactly Mob means, if refer to past or current incidences, it’s a group of people that come together with some unclear thoughts, requirements, and expectations. The hard fact is, it never turned into an identity or a body or a lobby. In simple words though come collectively but there is no collectiveness. The peculiar differentiation, mob comprises of agitated protestors rather than followers. The reason there is no representation. Do you too, observe the same?

The question comes, what they actually talk about? Just check most of the time it is about “Doubt”, “Fear of Survival” and “Persisting societal belief of exploitation”.Under these three categories, they just add the current context. What do you think?    

Now the very obvious query, what or who motivates them? Answer may surprise you, “Mob makers”.

You may feel it, as allegation? Want your attention on the game of playing with the mind which they execute on the principles of the phrase “putting words in horse’s mouth".

1.    High Social Status: These are the groups who have influence on account of authority, finance and intellect too. There say has the power of being relied as truth.

2.    Political Leaders: No need to say anything about the authenticity of their words but can prove easily “night “as “day”.

3.    Media: A very critical medium to create and persuade an opinion in the mind of mankind. As they work with auditory and visionary mechanism of one’s brain and eject deeply what they want to project.

If you look around all the prevailing social believes from vegetarian diet to non-vegetarian, ritual of any national holiday to valentine day, regional to international crises, usage of local to international commodity brands, moments of peace to riots .You name any dam good or bad ongoing, unsettled topic/ issue, you will find them as catalyst which gradually becomes the progenitors in creating Mob.

Mob which always live with an unresolved issue and tagged as villain. In legal litigation they are termed as people with intent to create disorder or violence.

Do you think “Mob “is the real problem?

Social psychology researcher says that Mob has no sense of discrimination of right and wrong because in a mob the individual’s mind was provoked or feed in such a manner and wired together as grapevine. That’s why they never respond just “react”.

Hence, who should be held responsible?

Without any doubt the Mob Makers because they only ripe and nurture the doubt about any situation / action/ person and ensures that it never get cleared. They act as smart movie editors and merge different shots to make a film of illusion.

It may sound weird, if ask whats the impact of it?

Turn the pages of old or current history of any nation, community or businesses: you will get exclusive reports/news

1.    Protest against any XYZ bill

2.    Violence to express any new ABC rule/system

3.    Evacuation of places because of any Alpha/Beta

People lost their lives; suffer by various means, damage of property etc.

Hope you came across some resonating examples of your life and surroundings. If we believe communication is one channel to address then its important to know what to address and how to address.

In any constitution, it needs to fix the responsibility and accountability of the right to speech in context to addressing people and converting them in to Mob. It is to be considering as the “act of provocation in law” because if we review the mob episodes as a whole we can easily assess the mental culpability and source of creation.

 Few check and balance:

1.    The content to be legally verified before making it public. Censoring / screening mechanism need to establish.

2.    Presentation of incidences / statements to measure on probable meanings and refrain the dual /miss-interpretation.

3.    Specific agency must have specific right and specific method to speak. For example, Right of investigation and publishing of its report is to be defined; media/political leader etc. cannot wear that hat.

4.    Any notification which is meant for public must have detail classification and interpretation.

5.    Channel to express disagreement / agreement must be established before declaring any notification.

You know the power of mass become mess if “the person in authority miscues to follow the responsibility.” The human, governs by intellect hence its entire society and system must be aligned to its intellect. It can be channelize by thought full representation.

If we really believe in the uniqueness of unity then with mutual understanding, invite and persuade “together” instead of “just gather”.
