MM Search Monthly December

Despite being the final working week of 2023 for team MM Search, we are still living out our core values of passion, pace and collaboration. Earlier this month, we shared a picture of our values that take pride of place on our main office wall. We strongly believe that values help us create the future we want to experience, and as a growing business now into our sixth year, we place a massive emphasis on our values – they will shape our future.

Having decorated the office on the 30th November, team MM Search certainly got into the Christmas spirit this year! From Christmas jumpers to endless mince pies, we have lived up to the ethos of work hard play hard. Last week the team enjoyed a fantastic Christmas lunch at Atlantic then on to Wunderbar for some live music. The after photos are still staying under wraps (for now!) instead we will share the PG Christmas Jumper photo!

The festivities didn't prevent us from working with a raft of fabulous clients, both new and existing across various sectors and disciplines. This month we have been working with new clients Optical Express , Calderys and Scottish Building Society , across multiple roles within these organisations. Our unwavering commitment to sourcing top-tier talent for ambitious businesses is why clients trust us time and again. We're privileged to work with esteemed companies and contribute to their strategic growth.

Launched in November 2022, MM Athletes is one of our innovative programmes that enables MM Search to support individuals in sport. The initiative intends to help sports stars achieve their full potential whether they are at grassroots level or play professionally. Currently we support various athletes from Inverclyde based weightlifter Denise Trayling to our very own Client Engagement Manager and rugby player, Andrew Jardine . The team showed their support this month for Andy by taking a trip to Biggar RFC and cheering him on! As Captain of the team, Andy led his team to a win - not that he felt the pressure! We are delighted to offer Andy another year of support and follow his journey.

As we come to the end of a remarkable year, we plan to keep up the momentum as we move into 2024. We are delighted to announce exciting plans to expand our team in 2024 with the addition of an experienced Operations Director.?The intention is to bolster our team with an experienced professional, further fuelling our UK and International strategic expansion.

Not only that, we are also primed to expand the highly successful MM Search Non-Executive Director Academy, driven by the unique demand for talented Non-Executive Directors in the Scottish marketplace. This year, the Academy has achieved remarkable success, hosting capacity-filled quarterly events and this will be a key area of focus for significant investment next year. We are looking to bring on the right person to drive and lead this part of the business, making it a key offering for our clients and candidates.?
