MIT Workshop

MIT Workshop

Initially, I was quite puzzled as this would require an entirely new version of me which I never unlocked before and certainly it was challenging as well. My mother being a teacher, I have a fair knowledge about the teaching sector and how proficient it can make an individual. This was a once-in-a-lifetime kind of opportunity, so after a deep consideration of all the pros and cons, I was up to the challenge. To get myself started with the boot camp, I was required to get myself familiar with MIT application to gain enough experience to teach. Luckily I was not alone in the teaching process. I was backed by a team composed of my fellow students. Teaching is definitely not my fantasy. I was able to see the door to improvise my leadership qualities and handle a mass amount of students. I hope they would certainly be required for my future endeavor in terms of both career aspects as well as personal life. One of my biggest concerns at the beginning of the boot camp was that the students might be taunting. But things made a quick turn and my prejudice against the students dropped immodestly. We got to teach the students on the alternate days with one day break while the other set of teams took over the following day. We used the breaks to fetch ourselves additional knowledge based on the questions raised by the student which helped us to become epistemic in this boot camp. As the camp progressed I've begun to admire how unique everyone's thought process is. I often consider my thoughts as alienated from others but I understood so was everyone else. Mentoring all the students, I thought that I was on the teaching side and the students were on the listening side but the epiphany struck pretty early that it's just a fine line and actually we both were learning different, yet learning. It caused a great hiatus in my approach. By the end of the camp, I felt rejuvenated and resurrected. Few days ago the same me who was perplexed about choice on mentorship is happy with what I did in the process. Looking back it feels like I would be a complete loser if I didn't grab this opportunity.Forever grateful for the instances in my life. So Here I'm Presenting Myself In Upgradation.
