I nearly lived at MIT when I was a student!

On my mother's first visit from Iraq, she was dead worried about my safety....she used to get upset with me for getting back late.

There was an area between MIT and my apartment which was not safe at the time and students used to carry a pepper spray for self-defense...

I did not carry one and my mother was terrified that someone will attack me at night..

so I slept at MIT when I had a very late night.. Thanks to The Margaret Cheney Room at MIT..
