Igniting Young Minds at Our Careers of the Future Bootcamp
On September 18th, we had an amazing time presenting our first-ever Careers of the Future bootcamp to 140 Year 9 students at the Islamic College of Melbourne. The day was packed with hands-on sessions, from Programming Basics and Electronics to Advanced Python. ???
The students blew us away with their enthusiasm and creativity—some even built programs way beyond our expectations! ?? A standout moment was hearing how much the girls loved the electronics sessions with Arduino kits. ?????? The interest in STEM was so inspiring!
This experience reinforced what we’ve always believed at Muslims in Tech: exposing children to the right skills today sets them up for tomorrow’s STEM opportunities. ??
A big thank you to the ICOM staff for making it all run smoothly. We can't wait to bring more bootcamps like this to ICOM and other schools. Let's empower our kids to excel in the careers of the future! ??????????
