Misunderstood situations and future responses: the art of knowing how to wait.

Have you ever stopped to think about the fact that most of things that happens with us in our lives always have a reason that we don't understand at first when it happens but afterward, when it happens, everything suddenly starts to make sense somehow and your doubts get responses as the time passes. It seems like the more you get the chance to face your challenges, more ready you feel to pass through the battles life puts on our way to cross. Even when we simply don't find reasonable explanations for what has just happened to us, it is always a better for you to let things happen the way they have because everything has a reason to happen even when we don't understand at first, we must embrace this truth because the more tempted we feel trying to understand what has just happended to us the worse it will be for our mental health. But why i am telling you that? Because we have to understand that when we give our best on what we do, we have already given and done everything we could. I was once told by my mentor during my period as an intern that even when we give our best on our place of daily work it simply doesn't avoid us to get fired by our managers because when it happens it is something that is not related to your personal behavioural or loss of tecnical competence and knowledge it is simply because maybe it was a decision that was taken by the directors or the Board of Directors.

It might seem to be a little bit difficult to put this exercise into practice but it is something extremely for us to acknowledge our accomplishments during our careers that makes us think that what was the cost of all of our accomplishments which generally leads to thoughts are not very healthy that leaded us to the positions we are today. For example, an intern doesn't understand why he is passing through such a tough period at the firm he works but, maybe, it is because of the daily situations presented to him/her it is a way in which he/she can learn how to grow as a human being and as a professional as well which is something that will take from this intern too much patience, humility and resilience to deal with all of the problems this intern may face during his/hers period as an intern at the firm which generally must be faced with enough courage and understanding that this period is a moment that requires from the person who is working for the very first time at the firm the ability of not letting the external things affect in such a deep way their behavioural attitudes which are commonly seen when they don't receive the support they need and what happens is that there is no understanding from both sides whether from the new employee or from the managers and the colleagues at their place of work where coexistance is a two-way street and and a roller coaster full of ups and downs (more ups than downs most times because of this growth period).

So, that is why it is very important for the person who is starting to work to keep in mind that if you ought to respect your learning curve knowing that this period of your professional is a moment in which you can commit mistakes because with the lessons taken from every time you fall you will stand much more stronger than the time you fell. The problem is that unfortunalty, principally talking about a country like ours that teaches the children from our contry to always be dependend on someone else's shoulders or opinions lead these children in the present to be spoiled adults where limit is a word that won't exisi in their vocabullary which is why it is so important for parents to trach their children that everything in life comes with sucrifices to acquire new things or to grow in life. So please, if you are reading this article right now and has children and want to give the best examples to you sons and daughters, teach them the lessons that every single person should take in this life: humilty. There isn't a single person in this world who is the owner of the world's greatest treasures and knowledges the same way there isn't a traveller that has ever travelled tho the countries of the whole world. It is a part of our constitution to always keep on learning new things beucase it is an essential of the human being to always look forward to be future and acquired knowledge, it is a natural tendency that we have rooted inside of us.

Dear reader, I hope that until now it may have generated some kind of added value for you in your personal as well as professional training. Remember: fear is something that paralyzes us in a way that we cannot move forward with our goals, steals our dreams and takes away from us the desire to fight for our ideals and makes us not recognize ourselves for who we are or for what we are. what we do. Therefore, know how to recognize each small achievement in your professional life, know if it is enough for yourself without having to depend on the contribution of others to know your sufficiency as a professional.

With best regards,

Matheus Gomes Ferreira de Moraes.
