MISTAKES MAY BE BAD, BUT THEY ARE NEVER AS BAD AS THE PRIDE THAT SEEKS TO DEFEND AND PERPETUATE THEM!

The passage, ‘Peacemakers…shall be called the children of God’ (Matthew 5:9 KJV), reminds us that, there are times in friendships when, one person may outgrow the relationship, but realising that we can all learn from our mistakes and grow through them, it should be handled with love and wisdom, and the best resolution to ?a conflict, even if it is going to be temporary, is a separation, because when emotions run high, we need space to think clearly and God can use this time of separation for His glory. In other words, the highest form of humility is displayed when a leader can rethink his position and come to a different conclusion. So let the knowledge that: 1) The only behaviour that we have the power to change is our own and when we realise that we have done wrong, we must acknowledge it; 2) Mistakes may be bad, but they are never as bad as the pride that seeks to defend and perpetuate them; and 3) We must agree to disagree and when a temporary separation becomes the best option, we need to agree on how long it will be; teach you, if you want to grow in every way to be more and more like Christ, to always speak the truth in love!FG. www.femigee.com
