No Mistakes is the Biggest?Mistake

Winning but feeling like losing? ??

Then as Yoda says, you are probably playing the wrong game. ??

It is possible to make few or even no mistakes, but that’s usually the case only if you live only in your comfort zone. ??

However, making mistakes out of our comfort zone is usually more rewarding. ??

Imagine you are playing for your local football or basketball team. ???

It feels great when you’re so far ahead of everyone else, doesn’t it? ??

But imagine if one day you meet a true professional competing at the highest level. ??

In most cases, you’ll feel the huge gap between your skills. And you know why? Because if the people around you are not even close to your level, then the chances of yourself becoming significantly better over time decreases. ??

We are the average of the 5 people we hang around with most. ??????????

If you’re going to be around Bill Gates, Gary Vee, Tony Robbins or Tim Ferriss, you’ll operate instinctively at a higher level and start being just like them. ??

If you’ve ever watched LeBron James and his NBA career, you can notice that every time he goes to a new team, his teammates start having the best seasons of their careers or at least, perform at a higher level. ??

If you like to play a particular game with someone, if they beat you each and every time, eventually you’ll get better because we all want to win and if someone pushes us, we’ll put in the extra effort to not fall behind too much. ??

It’s ok and even recommended to play to our strengths, but if we rarely make any mistake, chances are we are not growing because there’s no better way to learn than from our own mistakes. ??

Remember the last time you did a mistake and how it made you feel? Mistakes are so powerful because they are painful and once we taste some pain, we try to avoid it, hence why it’s actually beneficial. ??

Workouts and cold showers are so popular because they give us some pain, but in turn, their benefits are much more rewarding. ??

In conclusion, if you’re making mistakes, be happy. If you’re not, that’s probably one boring life without much growth. ??
