THE MISTAKE WE MADE

There are lots of times in our life we feel as if everything is great but still we are not able to make our dreams a reality, reach our goals, and live a glorious life full of divine glory. The questions we should ask ourselves is how as my mistake affected my life. ‘Yes’ it’s true, ‘making mistake is like gaining more experience’ but there are several mistake we make which might never be corrected. This makes us to live by the motto ‘live without regret’ but it is almost inevitable that we will regret at least something from the past.
In some cases, that regret and mistake make it difficult to achieve our dream and live a glorious life. We dwell in the past and suffer the regret daily. The biggest mistake we make in life that hold us from living a glorious life full of divine glory are;
1. Not going after our dreams
2. Doing something we hate everyday
3. Saying things we do not really mean
4. Living in the past
5. Avoid taking risk
6. Building our life around what we should have done
7. Not having plan
8. Ignoring our health
Moreover, when it comes to relationships and marriages issues most of it are victim of these mistakes, we forgot that the mistakes we make in our relationship and marriage will affect our homes and even our children. We all are ignorance of this fact.
‘Having the understanding darkened being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them because of the blindness of the hearts’ [Ephesians 4 vs. 18]
Nobody is perfect, but it seems there are some mistakes that have more dire consequence in our life, relationship, marriage and even our dreams. Let’s make our relationships and marriage a success by avoiding these mistakes;
1. Don’t try to change your partner love him/her for whom he/she has become
2. Don’t feel like you’re a failure in your relationship
3. Don’t pretend to be who you are not
4. Don’t reject people for who they are
5. Don’t believe your partner should always read your mind without you communicating clearly
6. Don’t believe your partner job is to make you happy
7. Don’t be addicted to fighting and argument
However, the success of someone lies in it upbringing and the information they adhere to. It’s a shame most parent fall victim of these broken hearted issues which turn down the glory of God in their Children lives.

One big mistake we parents today make is, we don’t want our children to fall, so instead of letting them experience, the obstacles, challenges and adversity, we clear the path and we remove obstacles to make their life easy. But adversity is a part of life and only by facing it can our children build life coping skills they’ll need in their race for success and divine glory. So while it seems like we’re doing them a favor, we’re really stunting their growth. We’re putting short – term payoffs over long term well-being.

Common mistakes parent makes which turn down the glory of God in their children lives are;
1. believing their children are perfect
2. Worshipping their children
3. Engaging in competitive parenting
4. Raising the child we want, not the child the lord have best owned to us
5. Forgetting our actions speaks louder than voices
6. Underestimating character
7. Judging other parent and kids

1. O Lord, Correct every mistake have made blocking my success in Jesus name.
2. O Lord, anoint me with your blood so that I would train my children to glorify your holy name in Jesus name.
