???This week we are going to talk about a mistake that I see podcasters making that?might be lowering their client conversion rate.

If you are a service provider and you are trying to leverage your podcast to get new clients the dream scenario is to be able to talk about your service on your show and BOOM....your listeners become your clients.?

Many podcasters have a lot of success with this strategy, but I've got ONE additional step that will take your conversion rate to another level.?

Instead of pitching your service directly on the show, try promoting some sort of freebie where they get to interact with you directly like a coaching episode (like my Podcast Audits), a community episode (like my Pod Pals Zoom Parties), or a free workshop or free challenge (like my Effective Lead Magnets for Podcasters Workshop).?

With my Client Conversion Pathway framework I like to take listeners from the Free Passive Zone (podcast listener) into the Free Active Zone (interacting with me directly in some way) before I start making suggestions about how we should work together.?

?? This extra step has boosted my Discovery Call new client closing rate up above 80%.?

Now I do think it's important to talk about your services, who you help, and how you help them on your show.

I also think it's important to do a bit of an awareness campaign when you launch something new (like I'm doing right now with my Online Business Academy for Podcasters launch).?

I'm just suggesting that you rotate some CTA's into your podcast that will move your listeners into the Free Active Zone instead of just selling directly from the show 100% of the time.?
