Mist eliminator pad

Mist eliminator pad, also known as demister pad, wire mesh demister, mesh demister, capture demister, mist eliminator, is used in gas entrained mist separation tower to ensure filtration efficiency.

How the demister pad works:

When the gas with mist rises at a constant speed and passes through the wire mesh, the rising mist will collide with the mesh wire and adhere to the surface wire due to inertia. The mist will spread over the surface of the filament, and the droplets will follow the filament at the intersection of the two lines. The droplets will become larger and isolated from the filament until the droplet's gravity exceeds the gas lift force and liquid surface tension, while almost no gas passes through the demister pad.

Separating gases in droplets can improve operating conditions, optimize process indicators, reduce equipment corrosion, extend equipment life, increase the processing and recycling of valuable materials, protect the environment, and reduce air pollution.
