You want the best deal, but you also want the best quality because cutting corners now could lead to costly problems later.

How to search out suppliers locally & globally

To truly excel in sourcing, you need more than just a supplier list, you need a suppliers' market intelligence. Start with market research, surveys, interviews, and focus groups aren’t just data points, they’re insights They’re your window into the minds of your suppliers. But don’t stop there. Get a 360-degree view. Study your competitors What are they doing better? Dive into external trade reports from your country’s Bureau of Statistics and Central Bank. These reports reveal from which country & source what materials are being imported.

Attend events and trade shows. These are not just networking opportunities they’re treasure troves of trends, technologies, and ideas waiting to be uncovered. Stay plugged in to monitor news and social media. They give you a real-time barometer of supplier’s market sentiment, helping you stay ahead of the curve on everything from shifting what are latest technologies and trends in the market and what is supplier’s behavior to global disruptions & perhaps most importantly, engage with your listed suppliers. Don’t treat them like just vendors think of them as partners & seek invaluable insights into supplier’s market conditions, innovation, and supply chain dynamics. The more you engage, the more you learn.
