MissionOG co-leads $42m series B in FactorTrust

MissionOG is pleased to announce a new investment in FactorTrust, a leading credit reporting agency that provides sophisticated decision analytics and predictive data to the alternative financial services market. MisisonOG co-led the Series B equity round totaling $42 million with ABS Capital.

Michael Heller, MissionOG advisor and former president and co-founder of Argus Information and Advisory Services-acquired by Verisk Analytics in 2012, has joined FactorTrust as the company’s president and and board member.

“FactorTrust has tremendous potential for further growth, including by broadening the industries we serve beyond short-term and installment lenders and by expanding our focus beyond underwriting data services, both of which could be accelerated by acquisitions,” Heller stated.

Gene Lockhart, chairman and managing partner of MissionOG joined Factor Trust as chairman of the board -  “FactorTrust operates one of the largest proprietary databases in the underbanked industry with a robust dataset, a strong technology platform, and a loyal and growing base of customers" added Gene Lockhart.
