The Mission of the Church is Missions!

Yesterday by God’s Grace we completed our mission week in Palapye Botswana this was a real eye-opener to me as God guided us . It was this – an acknowledgment of the hymn that “The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few” – that was for me the real shock. Friends are we a generation so self-absorbed that we are not prepared to be nothing for the sake of discipleship, I believe the mission of the church is MISSIONS, we must not be too comfortable on the pulpit, off course not neglecting the pulpit ,  at times the pulpit can become the roof that David was when he saw Bathsheba , David was mean to go to the battle (to go for missions to preach the gospel) but decided not to go giving an opportunity for the flesh to strike-“ An Idle Mind Is the Devil’s Playground”, without realizing we might become too idle while always by the pulpit every Sunday and Wednesdays but missions are always a wakeup call of God’s calling in our life that we are called only for one reason- for people to be saved from sin and for Christ and His finished work on the Cross to be revealed. Friends lost souls are crying for help in the jungle where there are snakes, sin is eating them up, and as God vessels , we carry the message of the Cross-the brazen serpent the only solution for SIN. Talk about true life of faith it is truly experienced more in the jungle of missions, as we face difficulties and persecutions God always makes us come as over conquerors, though it looked like we were lacking like the four lepers in 2 Kings 7, God brought salvation to many people in Palapye, we are so thankful

Summing it all up, I concluded that it is because of this lack of true servants that the continent is an impression of poverty –not only spiritual lack but also the hunger for daily bread, Pople are busy with gimmicks and establishing their own kingdoms while people are dying of sin in the jungle. I need not remind you brothers and sisters in Christ that we are not saved to be passengers in the body of Christ, but we are saved to serve the body of Christ by responding to Matthew 28:19 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” Capitalism has no place in the “true church “as it destroys the heart” that the true gospel wants to transform. The true gospel shares our miseries equally, it gives life it does not focus on getting the morsel of bread from lost souls, the lost soul must be fed by His not the other way round. It has been a tradition that missionaries come from outside Africa, but my heart is that in our generation Africa must start giving instead of just receiving. We must start to see a new breed of African missionaries, not only preaching in Africa but going to all corners of the world with the message of Jesus Christ. Yes, we cannot all be missionaries but we are all disciples to serve the body of Christ, be it in our businesses, in our careers or even within families, we must SERVE, day of a Africa that only receives are gone, a new Africa is rising an Africa that gives an Africa sends Misionaries to USA, Europe and all the parts of the world. Having received the promise in Isaiah 55:5 and through our program MissionaryFarm we are believing God for more people to be trained on the fundamentals of the Gospel (Preparing the mind and the heart for making disciples) and send them to jungle where we experience true joy of seeing souls being saved from sin, being born again in Christ and experiencing the knowledge of TRUTH (1 Timothy 2:3-4). Thank you for those who always receive the heart of Christ to support us in these Missions, may God continue to open more doors in your careers, business and more of joy within your families ##Acts 1:8 #Luke 24:47-48) #TheSpecialSeedMission #MissionaryFarm #PalapyeMission #GospelDrivenSociety
