A Missing Mile – Life’s Anecdote
A few years back I was running my first marathon and I arrived at a cross junction. I could not find the 23rd mile-post and was not sure which way to head next. After a bit of struggle, I managed to find 24th mile mark and eventually finished my race.
Where did that missed mile go? That very thought haunted me the whole day and made me relate this experience with real-life philosophy.
We all know that the missed mile was always there physically, either I have not noticed it or race squad may have picked up the marker not noticing the last runner (me). Situations like these occur to us every day in life, we miss noticing these markers (signals, indicators, and data points).
These mile markers are our guiding references while we march towards our finish line (end goal). We can still reach our end goal without these markers, maybe with bit difficulty and perseverance.
Pay attention to your missing mile, learn from experiences, experiment, innovate, iterate to cross your finish line !!!
