Why I Built My First Course (Even Though I Provided Services)
I don’t often speak about the exact details of my own business journey - and what it was that exponentially catapulted my personal wealth. But I want to share with you why I first built a course and the results that came from it.
It started with a real light bulb moment.
Back in 2010 / 2011, I was doing consulting for people and as I spoke to potential clients every day, there were a lot of people who couldn’t afford to hire me.
I realized that a lot of the people that I speak with just plain aren’t going to buy from me because all I had to offer them was something that cost thousands of dollars a month in a long-term contract.?
I realized that I needed a lower-priced offering that would serve them in a different way and still allow us to do business together.
That’s when I realized I needed to create a course so that I could have a low-priced product that I could sell in my sleep.
I built my first course in 2012. LinkedIn University.
It taught people how to use LinkedIn to generate leads and clients.?
It was basically describing the process I followed when I provided LinkedIn services for my clients.?
And that course, well, it changed everything for me.?

See, I had $30k in the bank in 2012 by providing agency services for clients. After I created and launched this first course…
Within a year it was a 6-figure course. Within just 2 years I had $1 million + in the bank. And since then I’ve gone to sell $14M+ in course sales alone. I started building real wealth.
