OUR BACKGROUND: Miss Millie's has been serving awesome chicken in the south west for over 30 years. Founder, Harry Latham brought fried chicken to the UK in the 1960’s. In 1965 Harry and partner Ray Aller opened the first store in the UK in Preston, Lancashire. OUR TRAINING: Tried and Trusted since the 1960’s, quality and innovation lie at the heart of Miss Millie’s. We run an extensive New Product Development (NPD) program and play a leading role within our industry associations as well as ensuring our staff are trained to British Retail Consortium (BRC) standards. Our five week training encompasses management training, total quality manuals, supply chain management, HR and corporate strategy support, legal support and business development.
QUALITY: We use Grade A farm assured chickens from suppliers who meet the highest welfare standards. Miss Millie’ s always use fresh chicken, never frozen.
OUR FUTURE: The UK quick service restaurant scene offers greater potential with an increasingly mixed demographic. We are delighted to announce new stores opening soon in Essex and London.We are examining international consumer interests as part of our development program with halal chicken as well as healthy options and gluten free products.Our in-house expertise keeps us at the forefront of value for money premium food, winning many industry plaudits for our digital food safety system.
