Till today I used to think that my mirror had some supernatural powers which can control my emotions. Now I realized that there are many mirrors are made up of same power. Along with that super natural power, What if mirrors have the power of speaking...??? You are on fire. Your Dad scolded you. With full speed you came to your room and shut the door. Mirror : Why you are so angry.. ?? Me : Had a fight with sissy. She punched me on my face. I was about to react but dad interrupted and scolded me. Mirror : Oh No.. Scar on face. Though you look below average, I am looking at you, as I don't have any other option.
By now my 'angry bird' mode was on..Mirror : Haha.. Relax My dear. I don't like to look in this way. Please wear a smile on your face...Me - :/ Mirror : You look the same as I look. Me : *Laugh* :) We don’t let anger to ruin our beautiful face. You are sad. You may have a lot of hidden things which are not been shared with anyone. You may burst out when no one is watching you. Then your mirror....Mirror : Are you crying? Me : Yes I am.. Leave me alone for sometime. :( Mirror : Sure my dear.. But you are not required to cry alone. I will be there with you till u can see me. Me: *Smile*??? You are there for yourself. Instead of crying, share your feel.
Typical Message sounds on my mobile : Happy Birthday. Though you received simple message, you will react like you win a gold medal in Olympics, if the sender is beloved. Mirror : Oh my blushed princess!! What's going on? Me : Singles like you can't understand why I’m blushing. Mirror : Since I'm single, I can understand your blush by your sparkling e eyes. Me : *Blush* :) Somethings are can't be hidden. You are on beautiful romantic walk with yourself. Suddenly you found a dog is coming towards you with jet speed. For a while, your heart stops beats. *Silence* After you reach a safe place, Mirror : Hahahhahaaa Me : *No words* Mirror : You look like a mountain but still afraid of dogs. LOL..Me : *face_palm* ?♀? Self talk improves to understand you better.
We, humans, always think that whatever we are doing is the best. Even if a third person tells us that we are doing it wrong, we might listen to that advice but we do it in our way only. So, when we cry we are actually letting ourselves degrade from the expectations we have from ourselves. Since childhood we have been taught to see the mirror and judge ourselves on how we look and how others see us. Mirror shows our real face. Thus, when we cry and stand in front of the mirror , the image we see isn't the one we have been looking at since years, each and everyday. Hence, crying automatically stops.
The reason for which we had cried becomes null. The purpose of crying suddenly goes away. The moment we see our picture of red eyes, swollen running nose, we start thinking “Is this day I had been brought up for?” , “Why cry over trivial issues when there are so many good things to look at!” So, as soon as the reason of crying goes away a weird smile resurfaces our pretty faces and ta-da! and we stop crying.
If I had the chance I’d ask you several questions. First, why are you crying? Then I’d ask what you think is pointless? These questions will help you uncover something deeper than just the mere act of crying and looking at the mirror. Looking at the mirror allows the person to see himself/herself from a different perspective. This provides that person a relief from the experiences and feelings that he/she may be experiencing. detachment even for a moment allows a change of perspective. This actually can help. Our reflections in the mirror is a powerful image of who we are at that moment. Do you like what you see or not? But we should not stop there. Ask yourself how you can change the circumstances to make it better. Stay blessed! #kishoreshintre #possessedbywritingspirit
