Mired or Admired?

Mired in emails, slogging through required systems and wondering about daily whisperings of wisdom, life can feel challenging. It seems as if there is not enough time to do the passionate play of words that I love to do because of all the itsy-bitsy details that are screaming at me to be resolved. I once read that if we do what we love to do and are passionate about first thing in the day, it’ll get done before we know it. And we’ll be happier if we do those things we love before we tackle anything or everything else.

It's a process, a lifetime one.

And here in Colorado, beautiful, stunning Rocky Mountain Colorado with breathtaking views, we walk around while the searing, sizzling, scorching mile-high sun bakes us all.

It’s not easy, I tell you.

Being human, especially a human doing, takes organization, energy, and time—time that we sometimes don’t feel we have in abundance. Yet there is always time if we make the time. One of my lessons is that we can make time for the things (or people) that matter the most to us. And let the rest flow easily to us. Really, the rest can wait.

Here, in the land of Nod, it’s tempting to go back to bed, to slumber, to dream. Yet to remember—who we truly are, as spirits, as imaginative creators—means we can change our everyday lives from ordinary to extraordinary.

What is it that fills you, that speaks to your heart? What makes time turn into moments of complete joy and submission? What are you doing that makes you wonder, whatever happened to the past three hours? What becomes birthed when you surrender to endless possibilities, rather than seeing with tunnel-visioned eyes (as my daughter’s dad used to accuse me of doing)?

Will you create an unforgettable moment, day, week, month and year?

Love to hear your thoughts. And yet, it is only you who holds the burning desire to uncover your own mysteries and to bring your cherished dreams to life. Be proactive. Be authentic in revealing your own story/stories. Be alive. It’s what you have come here to do. And we open our arms and welcome your longing, your truth-telling and your beautiful being.
