X-Ray was found at 1895 only but now it is not only used widely in medical,food,safety but also the industry,especially with the SMT development in recent years,it widely use for SMT field.
X-ray is a very short wavelength of electromagnetic radiation . It have high penetration and can penetrate opaque materials such as ink ,wood . The shorter wavelength the more energy. It generated by X-Ray tube.
X-Ray tube is a vacuum tube with cathode and anode.Cathode was made of tungsten wire,electricity can emit hot electrons; anode(called target) was made of high melting point metal. When thousands of electrons with high-speed hit the metal target ,the target emits X-Ray.
When X-Ray penetrates substances with different densities, its light intensity is different. The difference captured by camera/detector and will show the contrast effect at the computer monitor . The contrast effect can form an image to show the internal structure of the inspected object, so that the internal problem can be observed and detected without destroying the object.
