Daughter, I remember when your heart

was beating inside of me.

I heard not one, but two heartbeats.

There was my own and then there was yours,

beating inside of me until the day you were born.

I can not put into words the miracle of your life.

It was so sublime, a one of a kind experience in life.

The joy and elevation of having you was an experience

that I had never knew.

And it was just the beginning of the miracle.

Every day I watched you grow I was discovering all the

pleasure and the joy that having a daughter brings.

And that feeling has never left me.

I'm still in awe of you today just as much as I was yesterday.
