Miracle Week 2017
Let’s talk about the power of community.
On my campus, I serve as Vice President of External Relations for Aztec Dance Marathon. Each year we fundraise for our local Children Miracle Network Hospital, Rady Children’s Hospital. This hospital is dedicated to providing the best treatment for kids fighting unimaginable battles, and the best care for the families fighting right alongside them. They also refuse to turn away any family regardless of their ability to pay.
This organization is comprised of 50 student leaders who believe in a future where every kid gets to grow up. This team demonstrates passion, selflessness, tenacity, and genuineness in every step they take to make that future happen.
This week is our Miracle Week, a time to Inspire, Recruit, and Educate our students, Fundraise for Rady Children’s Hospital, and Appreciate all the efforts made throughout the week.
On Tuesday, this board of 50 students reached deep into their networks and managed to register over 1,250 students in ONE day.
Today, we started the morning in hopes of raising $15K in 24 hours for the kids at Rady. It is only 5:30pm, we’ve hit $20K, and we are no where near finished.
There is no limit to what students can achieve when they come together behind one shared vision. There is no stopping a community that is willing to fight for a positive impact.
So here I am, reaching out to my LinkedIn community, asking you to join me in this movement and to consider donating below! Let’s make a difference together.
