A Miracle of Stupidity!

A Miracle of Stupidity!

Getting your priorities right is essential. But one can only laugh. Everyone knows that so what is the new thing here??

“It is not new. It is from the 19th Century.”

The sign that what you do is always the right thing to do comes from within; it feels right, and you take pride in it because you have embraced a famous idea while possessing very high EI – Emotional Intelligence.?

You connect with everyone who reaches out to you, unfolding everything as you walk your highway of life and feel mentally enriched. What is the right thing to do, you can grasp with a snap of your fingers from a distance of 30,000 feet.?

Your hubris is so incredibly high that you don’t even recognise that there is always severe road construction on the highway of life. Hubris – come on – what is wrong? The wrong thing comes from within: from your likes and dislikes. Do you know why? EI—Emotional Intelligence is a fatal flaw; emotions don't possess a mechanism for intelligence, only likes and dislikes.?You can use your emotions intelligently, but that story is entirely different.

Most humans don’t like that change in their statement, and, for that reason, don’t change. They like their high EI and dislike any statement that challenges their self-perception.?

As humans, we like anything that works, and cars do work. That’s why we read the advertisement for a new car. We look for all the gadgets that fit into the electric green vehicle, and surprisingly, it will not require any service for years! There is no mention of the engine, transmission, lubricants, crash tests, driving dynamics, battery life expectancy, or costs per year for using it, only a speed test - from 0 to 100 in a split second. First, when it is not working or turns out to be too expensive, we focus our attention on the engine, battery, transmission, crash tests, driving dynamics, costs, life expectancy, and maintenance, e.g.?

Likewise, this is symptomatic of the life many humans live nowadays, at work and in personal lives. They are more interested in “looks and gadgets” than whether their body and mind function well.

When looking for a new job, they seek out who they refer to, if their office has 1-2 or 3 windows or if it is a corner office. A fancy business card with an impressive title, position, and education, the company car's size, more glossy gadgets, free lunch, a team size of 10, 35, or 100 people, vacation, salary, etc.?

There is not a single drilling-down question about the essentials of the team you are going to lead: the team’s setting, whether the team is working on the right tasks, the individual’s productivity and ideas, the team’s result expectations, the social dynamics inside and around the team, the team’s energy level and mindset, or the team’s enthusiasm and spirit. Whether leadership fosters collective creativity or a winning company spirit is not questioned in a one-hour interview.?

Leader sprouts carefully read their new ‘iPhone 16’ user manual to ensure they know all the latest gadgets, yet they never ask for or read a user manual for “teamwork.” When these leader sprouts end up heading a team, it navigates itself towards failure. Firstly, when it is not functioning, and some teammates feel they are heading for disaster, then... e.g., maybe they end up calling a headhunter and repeating the same pattern in the next team leader job, now at an advanced higher level!?

Leadership is about moving through life where everything works better—yourself, your team, and the organizational processes across and around your team and the organization—globally, at work and in private. Leadership processes are about shifting your priorities and aligning everything around you so that everything works well. This demands that you aspire, aim, and act with your intelligence switched on. Intelligence means that you demonstrate that you can change your convictions, attitudes, and behaviour when pursuing a specific meaning in life, purpose, or target. If you stick to the social prejudice encoded in your brain, belonging to your past, whatever that might be, it is not intelligence but a miracle of stupidity.?

If you do not get your priorities right, you won’t even know how to practice prudence, modesty, humbleness, and tenacity, not to mention the elite praxis of leadership. Almost 96% - ninety-six per cent - of any given sample of leaders need a thorough lesson in virtues - not values. The virtues you radiate come from within and are connected to the bright side of your personality; values come from the outside as guidelines and work rules. They might work for you, but they don't work if you are not a hundred per cent devotee.?

Without guidance from virtues, leaders can cause unbelievable misery to themselves and others – they don’t move, still keeping ‘their personal encoded truth’ in their minds. They feel it is all about the unfair demands from rivals, customers, and suppliers that do not deliver on space and time or the exchange rate to the USD.?

Yes, the entire world works against them. For that reason, the world has to change. But I wonder what these leaders do when at work.?

Leo Tolstoy (1828–1910) - “Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.”?

Siegfried, do you remember when we first meet? I do ?? , there were a time before and a time after, THANKS ?? -Ibber
