A miracle recovery........or just a better understanding?

A miracle recovery........or just a better understanding?

In 2003, our first patient consultation was with a man in his 60’s suffering from dysarthria. He had been unable to speak, only make guttural noises and/or mumble inaudibly for almost 5 years. His hospital, one of the leading hospitals in the East Midlands, could not identify the problem despite using MRI, checking for stroke, Parkinsonism and Alzheimers (the issue was that his brain and vocal cord were apparently in good working order but would not communicate). They finally wrote to him advising that they had tried all known options available to them - drugs, tests, therapies - but which had failed to bring any improvements and hence they were unable to help him.

Our friend E, who had already tried the Strannik test and treatment, recommended that he might want to try a course of Strannik Light Therapy so he contacted Montague Diagnostics and an appointment was made. I often think back, with some embarrassment and/or amusement, how I had advised this man and his wife that Strannik could not help him. His wife advised that they had tried every option in their efforts to assist her husband to recover his speech - firstly what biomedicine could offer and then what complementary and alternative medicine could offer - that Strannik was his last option and that they wished to proceed and do the Strannik test and therapy.

The Strannik Virtual Scanning test detected encephalopathy, impairment of cerebral circulation, etc. We provided him with a course of therapy which, at that time, was given on a floppy disk. After a day or so we phoned to ensure that he had installed the course of therapy on his PC. There was a problem so we drove to his home, installed the therapy, and left him watching his therapy on his PC.

We could not possibly have imagined what would happen. He phoned to speak to us - after 6 days! His friends and family were astonished at his recovery. His speech was completely normal - as if there had never been a problem in the first place! My wife and I hugged each other with joy. We saw him on one more occasion when he returned for a further Strannik test and to have his therapy renewed. It was extraordinary to note how well he looked, perhaps understandably, as he had been given what must have seemed to him a second chance. Amusingly, he commented that after 5 years of being 'team leader' - during which his wife had spoken for him all of the time - his biggest problem was to be allowed to speak.

The total cost to the patient was £135 for the Strannik test and consultation and £75 for the two courses of therapy i.e. £285.
