Miracle machines: new Ukrainian multipurpose helicopter MSB-2 ?Nadiya? has already risen to air

Hello everybody. We continue publications about miracle imachines.

Today we introduce to you new Ukrainian helicopter.

"Ukraine's first long-range helicopter "Nadiya" has made a successful maiden flight on April 2018. МSB-2 ?Nadiya? is Ukrainian multipurpose helicopter, created by PJSC "Motor Sich" on the basis of Mi-2.

The MSB in the name of the helicopter is decoded as Motor Sich Boguslaev. The helicopter has taken to the skies from the helicopter aerodrome in Zaporizhia city in southeastern Ukraine.

The helicopter has a seating capacity of up to 10 people, a maximum speed of 250 km. per hour and a flying range of 720 km. On the helicopter Mi-2MSB install a modern engines A?450M (developed by SE "Ivchenko-Progress" and produced at PJSC "Motor Sich") with a capacity of 465 hp, partly installed a new avionics, which dramatically distinguishes it from Mi-2.

This is a completely different helicopter with all the characteristics: noise, fuel economy at a height, load carrying capacity was several times higher. Maximum speed - 250 km per hour. As of April 16, 2018, 4 helicopters of MSB-2 were released.

The production of MSB-2 is planned in the following modifications:

MSB-2 (Mi-2MSB) - passenger-transport (up to 8 passengers) for transportation up to 750 km;

MSB-2С - for the needs of the MOE with the installation of the necessary equipment;

MSB-MD - for medical purposes;

MSB-2P- fire-prevention with the installation of equipment with a capacity of 900 l. for extinguishing fire; MSB-2СХ - agricultural, for processing of crops;

MV-2MO (Mi-2MSB) - a new light impact helicopter (will have such versions: antitank, reconnaissance and ship-based).

Also, the management of PJSC Motor Sich announced earlier that the process of state certification of the Zaporozhia helicopter "Nadiya" had started, after which the company plans to start the production of helicopters in 2018. It is expected that the price of a helicopter for sale will be 2- 2.5 times less than the French counterparts.
