Samsung introduced groundbreaking TV at CES 2018, including its first MicroLED TV, which includes new tech. Samsung Electronics reported that the world's first modular TV based on MicroLED technology, designed for the consumer market, will be available in August 2018 year.
It's about the decision of The Wall. Such a panel does not have limitations in terms of size, resolution or shape. Users will be able to configure the TV's configuration according to their needs - for example, you can create a display on the entire wall.
The panel uses microscopic light-emitting diodes, the sizes of which do not exceed several microns. MicroLED technology does not require color filters or additional lighting, but it provides an amazing visual perception.
In addition, screens based on MicroLED are characterized by high reliability and efficiency, including high light output, long service life and low power consumption.
The Samsung company demonstrated the panel The Wall in the size of 146 inches diagonally. The configuration can be changed by adding or removing an unlimited number of screens.
The Wall is the world's first consumer model of a modular TV based on MicroLED technology and represents another technological breakthrough. The device can transform its screen to the optimal aspect ratio of the image and provides incredible brightness, color gamut, saturation and black quality.
