Miracle Day

Miracle Day

Wednesday, December 04, marks the 35th anniversary of Miracle Day, an event that inspires us to invest in kids' well-being. In 2018 Wood Gundy contributed $3 million of the total $5.7 million raised by our Bank for Children's charities.

Miracle Day began in 1984 when Toronto's 42nd Street branch donated their commissions for a day to children's charities, raising over $160,000. Miracle Day has grown into one of Canada's largest corporate fundraising events devoted to children. Since 1984, over $100 million has been raised across Canada and $250 million globally.

Local Benefits

This December, Smith Falconer Financial Group donated money to make a difference in the lives of children in our community on behalf of our valued clients.

All commissions that are designated and donated through our branch will be dedicated solely and entirely to children's charities in our community. This means, familiar local charities are the recipients of the funds raised by the Toronto Bay Adelaide Branch. If you have any questions or would like further information on Miracle Day, please don't hesitate to contact us directly. You're also more than welcome to visit the CIBC Miracle Day website.
