Miracle of changes after Qigong

Miracle of changes after Qigong

When Qi circulates along meridian channels, it will stimulate body acupoints, drive blood circulation and bring nourishment to body cells. Hence Qigong has the positive effects of healing the damaged muscle, tissue, bone and internal organs. The benefits of Qigong also include greater mental focus, lower levels of stress, and decreased chronic disease risk.?

I practice between 1 to 2 hours a day in the early morning. Before becoming a Qigong practitioner, I used to have cardiovascular issues, high blood pressure, and sometimes even felt chest tightness and heart pain after stress at work. When I first practiced Qigong, I could feel pain on my left upper back, around the Jiaji acupoint in Dumai (will explain later). My shirt would be all wet after a while. Many beginners stop and quit exercise due to fear, but it is a normal sign that Qi is working and healing your damaged body. I did not stop and persisted. Now the feeling of pain is completely gone and my blood pressure goes back to normal range, I have not felt chest tightness and heart pain for quite a few years. I believe my cardiovascular problem is gone forever. This is clearly the benefit of being a Qigong practitioner.

Based on TCM theory, there are 14 major meridians in our body, they are in pairs of 6 Yang meridian and 6 Yin median connecting our organs to our fingertips or foot toes.? The other 1 pair is Dumai and Renmai connecting our lower abdomen to lip on head from back and from chest. Dumai is Yang meridian on our back in connection with the other 6 major Yang meridian governing body energy. Renmai connects with the 6 major Yin meridians regulating body liquids.?

Yang and Yin are opposite to each other like hot and cold, they must balance each other for a healthy body. If you have overwhelming Yang in your body, you often feel hot and thirsty. If your organ has potential issues even before showing any symptom, you will feel the Qi is blocked in the respective meridian connecting the organ, you can start to heal by guiding the Qi to flow through and balance Yang and Yin.

It's been said that qi gong promotes mindfulness, meditation, breathing regulation, and movement, all of which with consistent practice to achieve muscle memory, will result in stress reduction and mental well-being for qi gong practitioners.
