Minnesota Green Building Progress with LEED Fellow Rachelle Schoessler Lynn
Rachelle Schoessler Lynn, FASID, CID, LEED Fellow , has over 25 years of experience, Rachelle is devoted to design excellence and Workplace innovation with an emphasis on the impact of design strategies on well-being.
An active national leader in innovative, sustainable design and solutions, Rachelle is one of the co-authors of the Minnesota Buildings, Benchmarks and Beyond Guidelines and co-founder of the Minnesota USGBC chapter. She was awarded the #LEEDFellow distinction in 2013, the #ASIDFellow distinction in 2009, and recognized as the ASID National Designer of Distinction in 2016. Rachelle was the National Chair of the ASID Board of Directors from 2014-2015, during which she furthered the case for sustainable design through policy, research initiatives, and engagements.
Rachelle’s leadership in Workplace thinking and sustainability is reflected in her portfolio. Her clients span from 3M to the City of Minneapolis. Known for her ability to harness the power of design to transform her clients’ spaces, BAYADA recently sought Rachelle to work on a consolidation of 20 regional offices into a new headquarters in Pennsauken, NJ developing a new workplace strategy dramatically improving the employee engagement while reducing costs in overall operations expenses.
In her free time, Rachelle enjoys traveling, especially to the ocean. Family is very important to her – she loves spending time with her nieces and nephews. She also enjoys walking around the lakes in Minneapolis.
