Is Minister Musa qualified to lead violence and crime reduction in Belize?

Recently there was a news report from Love News in which Minister Musa discusses violence reduction. Here is a link to that news story

What opportunities has Minister Musa provided for them specifically?

Are there programs for them to get their birth paper, social, police record with addendum, resume, reference letters, bank account, divers license, food handlers permit, land title, passport, tour guide training and license, fishing license, boat captains license, boat license, vehicle registration, vehicle insurance, and finally job referral for a job that pays a minimum of $10 an hour so they can pay back their debts such as drug debt, court fines, debt to cartel, debts to lawyers, debts related to child support while they are detained etc?

Or perhaps he is referring to online training in literacy and getting their high school certificates or getting their 6th form certificate or their skills training certificates in auto mechanic, ac tech, welding, carpentry, seaweed farming and permaculture?

Or perhaps he is referring to residential intervention programs where they go with their family and receive 18 months of intensive intervention including 8 hours a day of structured training and classes and mentorship.

Or maybe he is talking about the amazing one on one mentorship program done by churches in which they adopt one man and his baby mama and kids for 7 years and invest in them DAILY, (not weekly) and always one on one.

Or perhaps he is talking about the awesome training they are receiving in writing a business plan, putting an investor package together, getting business registration, tax itd number, occupancy permit, trade license and other relevant businesses and I am sure minister Musa has arranged for them to have start up funds for that business using land as collateral.

Or perhaps he is talking about the land title clearance program since 75-85% of titles in southside are messed up and most of them are living on dead relatives land and many of those relatives died in United States and it is nearly impossible to get a death certificate.

Or maybe he meant the subdivision subsidy program for getting family land legally divided so they can qualify for grants and loans to start their own farms.

Or perhaps he was talking about the amazing counselling programs that all of them are so eager to participate in since they know for sure their business will not be leaked resulting in their death or the death of a loved one.

Or maybe he was talking about the witness protection program for those that want to testify in court as to what they saw.

Or perhaps he was referring to the mental health interventions and educations being done in the prison to educate the men about PTSD and provide all of them with EMDR therapy three times a week for a year.

Or maybe he was talking about the forensics programs designed to ensure that evidence is collected properly so that everyone can get justice.

Or perhaps he was talking about the offline Rachel Program installed in every neighborhood so that they can have free learning on any issue at anytime.

Or maybe he was talking about the business partnership program where business people each take in ONE man and work tirelessly to mentor him every single day both on the job and personally and adopt both them and their family.

Or maybe he was talking about the church partnership program where they take a man who has already completed a certain amount of training and give him a job and also train him to be a pastor or apostle or evangelist etc.

Or perhaps he was referring to the NGO partnership program where they volunteer a certain number of hours in research and service and get a certificate of completion when complete.

Or maybe he was talking about the government shadow program for those interested in government service in which they learn things like anti money laundering protocols of the FIU or serve as an advocate for the poor in their neighborhood at Human Services or shadow the mayor every single day till he finally understands their struggle or even better yet, be the driver for Minister Musa as well as every minister out there.

or maybe he was referring to the Faith based NGO sector setting up farms and bakeries and cafes for them to work at and serve in

or mabye he was referring to the GCF and GEF grant funds for climate change that can be used to help them improve the food security in their entire community and learn farming and agriculture and seaweed farming.

or maybe he was talking about the program with private foundations that is properly developed to provide them with what they actually need which is a friend to walk through every hurdle in life with them every single day.

Oh wait, I think I must be confused because we literally do not have even one of those programs in Belize....but he sure can lead a basketball game.

I guess he missed the class in violence reduction training which clearly tells us contact sports are NOT proper intervention. SIGH
