The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria is seeking a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join an expanding academic department. Position Summary

The University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria is seeking a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon to join a stable and growing Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This is a unique opportunity to advance a strong clinical and academic career in MIGS.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in Minimally-Invasive Gynecologic Surgery.
  • ?Teach, train, mentor, and precept residents and medical students in the clinical context.
  • ?Develop scholarly activity; Prepare and deliver academic presentations.


Minimum Qualifications

  • MD or DO
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Certified MIS-designated focus practice and/or AAGL/SLS fellowship trained
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Illinois

Preferred Qualifications

  • Urogynecology experience
  • Experience with mentoring and training residents and medical students
  • Demonstrated ability to produce scholarly activity
