Mindset

10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1, Happy New Year! Remember that feeling of excitement? You felt hopeful and believed in new beginning's. We all did. But days turned into weeks. Weeks turned into months. Now here you are. Hope is lost, feeling dejected. But why? There isn't anything magical about January 1. The magic is in you, baby. A couple days into the month and we hit our first roadblock, we revert "Same shit, different day." And that's just pitiful.

Hope can pull us out of tough situation. Mindset will keep us out. You think people who are happy are lucky? That is the furthest thing from the truth. They work at being happy. Day in and day out. They grind. And they do this because they have one fundamental?belief. That they deserve to be happy. That's it. There's your magic. Simplistic in nature. Available to all.?

You ever see a couple that is really happy? Sometimes you may think that its all show. And maybe it is. Or maybe, it's two people who show up for each other everyday. They're willing to have the tough conversations. They put the work in. They believe that their love can withstand anything. And you know what? It can. Why? Because they believe.?

January holds no mystical power. Neither do the weeks, or having a lot of money. In fact 7 out of the 10 professions with the highest suicide rate, all make 6 figures or more a year. While money does by you options, it does not make you happy. It will give you distraction for sure. But at last, not happiness.?

So here's the thing. Get yourself back to that feeling of hope that you had January 1. It's in you. You may have to dig a little, but it's worth it. The months don't carry the magic. But you do. So do yourself a favor. Train your mind to believe that anything is possible. You don't believe that? Then train your mind not to quit. You won't do that? Then think about getting some therapy, to determine why you don't feel deserving of happiness. It's all about the mindset. That's it. That's all.?
